I’m only 8 weeks pregnant and I was talking about my desired birth plan with my mom (due in June.) I want limited cervical checks because I have medical trauma and my cervix is extremely sensitive. My mom is saying it’s your first baby so you will do what they want you to do…well on tiktok there are a lot of midwife’s saying you can advocate for yourself during labor and you don’t have to do things you don’t want to. I don’t want to feel out of control in my labor. 😑😒 and I need an advocate !! Obviously my mom isn’t going to be.
