Kind of upset that he made other plans

We saw eachother the other day and we made plans to see eachother today, but his sister's baby shower was today. He seemed pretty adamant about hanging out with me but it seems like he completely brushed it off to hang out with his sister's husband, his uncle and cousin. I mean it's okay if he would have told me that was his plan but leaving me high and dry like that and not texting me until 5pm saying he's just leaving the baby shower. I texted him beforehand and he ignored it, completely ignoring my topic but brought up the baby shower instead. He never told me he was gonna change his plans, at least tell me you would rather do that instead than hang out with me.   Two days ago he's like, at least I'll get to see you on Saturday. But nope, I'm here kind of thinking wtf, am I chopped liver or something?
