Do you allow your baby to watch tv? (They don’t recommend it untill 18+ months)

Well “They” aren’t the ones who have to deal with trying to fix supper while your baby is crying and chasing you around the kitchen so 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe “they” should stfu. Yes my 1 year old son occasionally watches bluey or hey bear sensory. I am not ashamed. My husband is in the military and he is out of town a lot. I have to do things.

Realistically how do you not? When we sit and relax as a family tv is on, even if baby isn’t fully paying attention he’ll look up and watch for a minute or 2 then go back to playing.

The TV is always on at my house so my kids have "watched" TV from day 1 basically. Lol my kids are 12, 8, 6 & 2

Nope. Our kids are 2 years old and 11 months old and neither watch TV.

Honestly some of my best memories from being a little kid are the tv shows! I don’t think I’ve suffered any I’ll effects 😆

We don't.  We limit screens with our 8 year old too. It's just the way we live.

With our first, we lived in a camper while building our house so we barely watched tv. Newborn to one year. Once we moved in we started turning on shows he’d like and eventually grew to like them. Prior to that he didn’t pay too much attention to tv when we did here and there before that. Our new baby due this week will probably get much more tv time since our other will have it on.
