Little back story.

I had a missed miscarriage at 12 wks and passed the baby the following week naturally. A week after I started a progestin only pill for a month to protect myself until I was ready to try again. I didn’t even finish the month (almost 3wks) due to the side effects I had (chest pain/extreme mood swings/etc). It’s been just barley over a month with out any birth control or using protection at all. Today I went to wipe after using the bathroom this morning and noticed brown mucus discharge. Is this normal? I have no idea when my period is supposed to start due to the miscarriage, birth control and having a history of PCOS. Has anyone else had similar symptoms
