Currently 17 weeks. My first trimester screening came back as 1 in 150 chance of a chromosomal abnormality with a NT of 2.8 mm. NIPT came back as low fetal fraction result. So I did a repeat and it came back as 88% chance of DS. I heard the news while I was at work and I couldn't hold back the tears. I didn't want anyone to see so I just cried in the sick room. Our genetic counselor has now recommended amniocentesis to make sure. But I am losing hope day by day and it's been a constant waiting game after each test. Anyone had a high result on their NIPT and went on to get better results in the amnio? Could really use some positive stories. I am drained:(.
