Has anyone had biopsy taken from their uterus ?

My Mom has been diagnosed with thickening of the internal wall of her uterus and a fibroid inside. The next step would be a biopsy which in her country they do under local anaesthetic.

She doesn’t do well with pain at all and already panicking about it.

She can’t get general anaesthesia for this but was offered sedation.

I don’t have a good experience eith sedation but i’m wondering actually how painful is this ?

Like a smear/ pap test or much worse ?
