What meds do you take for morning sickness ?

Second pregnancy- severe morning sickness all day. I don’t throw up but the nausea feeling is soooo bad: what meds help that are safe?

My first pregnancy nothing helped, but I took Reglan and it made me throw up less. I lost a lot of weight..
My second, I started with Reglan and it barely helped again. I have a new DR (much better than last time), and she actually has been having me try other things. I’m 24 weeks on Sunday and still sick all day, every day. However, now I’m on Unisom/b6 and promethazine. And then pepcid for acid reflux because that recently started. The promethazine (25mg) I noticed helps more than the Reglan (Also yes I tried Zofran and it doesn’t work, either time).

Didn’t and still don’t take meds for it I usually eat sour candy, hard candies, going outside for fresh air & I know sounds gross  or weird but smelling rubbing alcohol also helps with nausea.

Zofran doesn’t work for everyone, it didn’t for me. But there’s options. Sometimes nothing works fully eirher (my case unfortunately).
There’s Reglan, Zofran, Phenegren (promethazine) and Unisom/b6. Those are kind of the most common ones. Make sure you’re not dehydrated because that makes it worse and if you can’t keep food or water down for 24 hours, go in for fluids.

Zofran sometimes helps but sometimes it barely takes the edge off. I’m nauseous and head spinning for most of that’s day. It’s miserable. Good luck

Got told by my doc she wouldn’t give me zofran in the first trimester anymore cause it may cause facial defects….she gave me prochlorperazine (for during the day) and unisom and b6 (those two for at night) and a suppository called promethazine (the suppository I will only use if I have to cause last time it didn’t help) I have a history of HG so I get loaded up and told to do what works for me….hope this helps you good luck 🍀
