Is milk of magnesia safe for pregnancy?

I’m so constipated, i get bad cramps but nothing wants to come out. Just wondering if anyone has taken milk of magnesia safely during pregnancy.

Colace I’ve all heard is good. 
Drink lots of water and eat plenty of fiber rich foods to help move things along. So sorry you’re going through that, sounds terrible! I’m having the opposite problem. Hang in there, momma xx

Normally a cup of coffee helps me, or egg nog actually 🤷🏻‍♀️. I'm not sure of milk of magnesia or not.
