Short night stretches
Help! Our little one is 20 weeks old and having a hard time with sleeping. Both daytime naps and at night. He’s likely going through sleep regression, however, his longest stretch at night has always only been 3-4 hours. Lately, his first night stretch will be 2-3 hours, then maybe we’ll get another 2 hour stretch. But after that, he’s up every hour. At night he’s getting a total of 8-10 hours which I know is nowhere near enough. During the day, he REALLY struggles with going down, and even when we get him down, his naps usually don’t last longer than 30-40 minutes. I know what the normal wake windows are for his age, however, he seems to want to stay up a lot longer. He’s very active.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are uncomfortable with CIO so we are looking for gentler options to get this little guy on a schedule.
