Why is my 1 year old still waking?!

Please… anyone else in the same boat? 
Still wakes about 3 times a night…

Could also be a few other things. 
Not a completely pitch dark room, any light casting a shadow, that shadow will get their attention and wake them up. 
Rocking them to sleep then putting then down vs putting them to bed very drowsy, they don't learn to get themselves to sleep, so in the middle of the night they just wake vs. Knowing how to get themselves back to sleep.

My daughter didn’t sleep through the night until I stopped breastfeeding at 14months, she does still wake up sometimes if it’s a hot night or something for water then goes straight back down and she’s almost 2

Oh this is totally normal. My 2.5yo still has nights where he wakes up multiple times for various reasons. Every kid is different.
