Woke up with a fever

So my daughter woke up with a 102-103 fever. I gave her tylonel and she went back to sleep. It’s been like 20 minutes and her temp is still the same, I know it take a a bit, but should I wait with her until the temp goes back down or can I go back to sleep? Lol it’s 2 am in the morning.
