Broken Condom, Help Please?

Alright so, my boyfriend and I are 19 and 18 year old college students. We had protected sex with a condom yesterday, however the condom broke towards the end. I had just gotten some oral birth control (Lyza or the mini pill) and was planning on taking it right before my period is expected to start, on Jan 5th, 2016, but in the panic, I just a took a pill right then and there hoping that would work.

After I did some further research, I found out that that was pretty much useless, so I'm wondering if there's a chance we can get through this delima without the use of emergency contraception? My periods are usually a bit irregular and we've been to a very helpful planned parenthood before just last month for slightly similar reasons, but to be honest, I'd be sorta embarrassed to go back for the same reason again... (i know, that's a pretty childish mind set)

I'm just wondering if there's really no reason to worry at all? I wasn't ovulating when we had sex and my fertility window is closed according to a couple period apps. Just looking for some realistic feedback. Please and Thank you.
