What’s your opinion on having a threesome in a LTR? Do you think it could affect your relationship?

Hell no, rarely do these ever work out good. There’s a post on here multiple times a week with someone crying their SO was giving the other person more attention, they can’t get over their SO having sex with someone else, etc. not a good idea

I had a threesome at least 3 times in a previous relationship and it was my idea originally. I mainly did it because I’m Bi and wanted to be with women but most of them were more into doing things with him than with me so it was no longer fun. I personally wouldn’t do it again.

I think there needs to be a TON of communication, very clearly set boundaries/rules, and an amount of honesty and openness like no other. It is not for everyone, and generally I would say that most people find that it is not worth it. If you care about this LTR, I would be more interested in understanding why your partner (or yourself) is interested in doing this, and really examine the motives for proposing such a thing. If it's just to spice up your sex life, there are a lot of other things you can do to achieve that- try going to a sex shop and look for fun outfits, toys, etc.! And if it's because one or both of you want to be sleeping with other people, than I suggest you guys have some self-reflection and discussions about why that is. Good luck!
