36 weeks, nicu time?

If your baby was born at 36 weeks did he/she need nicu time ?! 💜

My little girl was born 36 weeks and 1 day, she spent 6 days in nicu because she had trouble feeding - she ended up being tube fed every 2 hours whilst in there and they kept increasing it. She was also very jaundice and under 2 lamps but after her stay we had no issues and she’s now a thriving almost 3 year old ☺️

My son was born at 34 weeks weighing 4lbs and wasn’t breathing. He was there for two weeks until he reached over 5lbs and passed all of their tests. If he was born and weight 5lbs and he was fine I would’ve been able to take him home right away.. so it just depends on your baby😁

35 weeks, no. Stayed in my room. 3 week stay

Mine was born at 37 weeks on the dot and spent 3 weeks in NICU. Now, that wasn’t because he was considered premature; I had blood clots in my lungs, coded immediately after birth and he was stunned. He also was withdrawing from a medication I take daily and that took the majority of his NICU time.
