sma carrier

Hey everyone so I have a question recently did a blood test I am a carrier for SMA the doctor requests my husband blood test tomm. Oddly my first child 14 years ago I was not tested for this. Doing a bunch of research it is racking my brain. Has anyone else been a carrier? With the husband being negative?

Praying that he is. It says to also do genetic testing in research to be sure😪😪
