When is the first appointment after BFP?

My LMP was October 20th and my BFP was November 13th.  I called my OBGYN to get set up with prenatal care and my first appointment isn't until December 12th.  So I'll be about 7 weeks then.  Is this normal for the first appointment or do you ladies usually get seen as soon as you get your BFP?

We are literally on the same page my last period was 10/20. I called and schedule after getting a positive and my first ultrasound is 12-14

Depends on the office my last cycle was August 19th I got my positive September 12th had my first appointment 2 days later on the 15th

I got an early appointment at around five weeks due to medical reasons. Fingers crossed that everything is okay 🤞🏾. I’m so happy and nervous waiting for my appointment soon. I’m supposed to be due July 2023.

My first appointment was at 5 weeks and a couple days because I was having brown spotting. They drew blood to test for STDs, and I think they checked the HCG and progesterone. I also had a Pap smear.

My office s he files you between 8 & 12 weeks. The only reason I got appointments at 6 weeks is because I asked for medication/was diagnosed with HG.
