Has anyone been induced around 37 weeks for insulin use/baby measuring big?

My doctor originally said 39 weeks but my blood sugars are creeping up as I get further along (30 weeks now) and last appointment she said we might need to schedule my C-section for 37-38 weeks now.

I don’t mind it being earlier but was just curious if others had similar experiences of having babe earlier for these reasons (insulin use and baby size)!

My first GD baby I was induced 38 weeks (insulin controlled for fasting), my second Gd baby came on her own 37 weeks (diet controlled).
