My boyfriend woke up early this morning and kept going in and out of the room. He got back in the bed and was making a lot of noise so I asked him if he was okay. He said that he felt sick and that he needed to throw up but couldn’t. Why he got back in bed with me knowing he felt sick is beyond me and it also is the main reason why I did what I did. Anyways I went to the living room as soon as he said that and couldn’t go back to sleep (this was around 3am). Around 6 in the morning I got up and started taking care of the dogs. Since I wasn’t able to go back to sleep and haven’t slept much the last few days (he wakes me up a lot all through the night), I told him that I was going to go to my parents house for a little bit. They were already planning on coming over themselves to get my dog so I just went ahead and brought him to them and hung out with them for a little bit. He said nothing when I told him this and I asked him multiple times if he needed anything before I left. I also text and called him a few times to ask how he was feeling and if he needed anything. He said no everytime. The last time I asked he tells me he thinks we need to take a break since I left and that his mom was coming over to take care of him. I told him that I decided to leave for a little bit because I don’t want to get sick (he moves around the house and gets in my face when he’s sick) and I also told him that I’ve been tired due to not getting much sleep. I told him that if he needed something or if he wanted me to stay he could’ve easily asked me to do so and I would have. I even offered to take his dogs since mine was going play with my parents brand new dog. He said he needed me but when I asked him if needed something he said no even after I came back to the house. Does that make me a piece of shit for leaving? I really wasn’t trying to make him think I was just leaving him and I didn’t know what to do to help him
