Can you still have sexual intercourse with progesterone supplements?

I’m currently taking progesterone supplement vaginally. I was wondering if it’s safe to have sexual intercourse with my husband while I’m on the progesterone suppository?

Answer

I always put my suppository in at night right before I fell asleep. We would have sex either right before that or wait and do it during the day. I know the medicine is absorbed in like an hour, but I wasn't comfortable having sex any time shortly after inserting the pill.
