Who has their membranes stripped and it actually work? Details please :))

I had a sweep done at my 39w+2 appointment. I was only 1cm so barely enough for a proper sweep. Started having contractions ~5 hours later, my water broke another hour after that. Baby was born the following morning 🙂

Had a sweep done at 38+3 and contractions started the next morning. I gave birth that night. I was only around 1.5-2cm when my ob performed the sweep

I had mine done at 37+6. I was 3cm dilated and 80% effaced. My water broke 48 hours later.

1st baby - had two done, water broke 12 hours after the second 
2nd baby- had 4 done, none worked - I was 4cm at 37 weeks and ended up going to 41  weeks and went into labor the morning of my induction. 
Currently pregnant with my 3rd and I’m not even bothering with them this time 😅

Had my sweep done 39+3 and went into labour same night. Had it at 10:30am, bounced in my yoga ball all day, did some curb walking, and contractions started at 8pm, was at the hospital and admitted by 10:30pm
