Reflux breastfeeding?? 9days old

Hey mamas, 
My baby is 9 days old today and we've been struggling with feedings. 
So we are combo feeding, but since I don't have enough milk it's formula mostly. Maybe a ratio of 4breasmilk in 12 feeds. 
And maybe it's in my head but lately, feels like he's getting more reflux after breastfeeding. Even now,, he had formula for the past 2 feeds and I have him my expressed milk now,. IMMEDIATE REFLUX. 
Has anyone else had this problem?

Spit-up can look like A LOT sometimes… but if you take 3ish ounces (or the amount of a full feed for a 9 day old) water and spill it on yourself, you’ll see just how much would constitute actual vomiting. If it’s actual vomiting, baby will be somewhat distressed. Some babies spit up with every feed for the first year and that can still be very normal. If your baby isn’t gaining weight or making enough wet diapers, that’s a sign that something might be wrong. You say it happens more often when baby is breastfed… it might be baby’s position when feeding. There are different positions you can try. Talk to a lactation consultant.

Also, unrelated, but if you really want to breastfeed, cut out the supplementing and latch baby more— that’s likely the reason you’re not making enough. Most moms think they don’t make enough right after giving birth because baby is cluster feeding and wants to be at the breast all the time, so they supplement with formula. But then baby isn’t removing as much milk from the breast, so your body thinks it doesn’t have to make more. The first few weeks are pretty important for establishing supply, but education for breastfeeding moms is not great at all, especially if you’re in the states! Good luck and congrats!

Maybe he is full from the formula and then spitting up the expressed milk? Could be lots of reasons why he’s got reflux. Most babies do spit up. Sometimes it looks like whole feeds when actually it’s not. My first daughter she would spit up and it would be like a fountain coming out her mouth, I hated it. Made feedings so stressful. She also started losing weight so she required medication to help with it. My second, now, she spits up too, but no where near as much, and it’s not with every feeding. It could just be coincidence that your baby spat up after your expressed milk. Breastmilk generally is easier on a babes stomach than formula so it would be unlikely to be your breastmilk.
