I’m currently 8 weeks 2 days pregnant and I have been prescribed 75mg aspirin tablets I have to take 2 a day I have 4 boxes, I have just read the health leaflet in the box and it says not to be taken by pregnant women, I am so confused now I don’t want to take them, I know I had obstetric cholestasis in my last pregnancy and she mentioned that it could help prevent it this time, I’ve tried to reasearch about aspirin in pregnancy and i can’t find anything that says it’s ok to take, I know my midwife wouldn’t prescribe me something that can harm my baby but I’m just so confused I will be leaving her a message in the morning to say I just need some

Reassurance and to find out exactly why I have to take them, has anyone on here been prescribed aspirin during pregnancy??
