35 weeks. Perineum Pain.
First time mom. Today I noticed that as I was walking doing some errands that baby was definitely hitting my cervix and It hurt. He’s gotten a few jabs throughout the day today that knocked the wind outta me.
But I also noticed that as I sat down and pushed to pee that my perineum started to hurt ONLY when I PUSHED. If I touch the area with my fingers it physically hurts from the outside as well like if I can massage the pain away (circled in the picture attached).
I just had a prenatal appointment yesterday and everything was fine. Baby is head down for sure so I’m assuming it’s just him making his way lower and putting pressure?
Is this normal? My belly has been hurting today too, but more like soreness from his movements and my skin being stretched. Other than that, I’ve had No cramps, no leaking fluids, no need to constantly pee, and no burning or smells, no unusual discharge, so I know it’s not a urinary issue.
