When husband tells stories of his past he says things like “my wife and I” or “my wife did this”. I believe I told him before that’s it’s bothersome but I suppose he forgets and it just happens. I don’t have a ex husband but I would probably say “my husband at the time” or “my ex”. I’m not a jealous person, he has female friends and I’ve even let him go out to lunch with his ex wife when he visited his home state. I just find it irritating that he refers to her as his wife. Am I tripping?
