I was diagnosed with GD on Thursday. I have done very well keeping my sugar in the normal range with change of diet despite my doctor telling me nothing about it. I have had to learn from Google but with that came something scary. I read that I was 5x more likely to have a stillbirth and that my baby is 3x more likely to die shortly after birth! Why wasn’t I told this by my doc? I am so nervous now that I feel I can’t enjoy the remainder of my pregnancy. Has anyone been diagnosed with GD and went on to have a healthy delivery and baby? Will I be induced?
