Ok so my husband and I have been arguing about this non stop and I want to know if I’m in the wrong for feeling this way.

I’m due with #2 in two weeks. My FIL and his wife want to come visit end of January. Ok, no problem. BUT they said they’re staying for 17 days and I’m not ok with the duration of this trip. The BIGGEST issue is my husband won’t be home the last 7 days of their time here bc he has to work 12 hours a day and I’m expected to hang out with them everyday, all day so they can spend time with their granddaughters. I would NEVER ask my husband to do that with my family nor would I even allow them to stay here for that long. His dad is getting a hotel but the last time they came here they were here from 9-5 EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. I was exhausted and honestly just burnt out but I dealt with it. Am I wrong for telling my husband that I don’t want to hang out with them alone when he won’t even be here all while I take care of two kids while breastfeeding?

** edit to add that I did tell him they need to reduce their trip and he told me he can have his family over whenever and however long he wants. That he will just request the time off from work so he can stay with them instead of me but he’s completely missing the point. It’s too long of time for them to be here! He just doesn’t care! 😡
