Bathroom problems ?

I'm just a over 5 weeks and am so constipated! Is anyone using anything to help with that? I drink tons of water and eat lost of fruits and veggies. Should I get some prunes or something ??

Sometimes all it takes is a bit of fat...I'm not saying gorge on fast food but when I'm preggo and constipated a small fast food burger or fries works like a charm!

I'm sure your Doc would tell you to try high fiber foods first. This is my fourth pregnancy and have suffered with severe constipation and hemaroids every time. I have IBS and take peri-colace every day and my Doc tells me to continue to do so through out my pregnancy. I take two pills in the morning and two again at night. Every Doc is different so check with him first. He might have something else in mind for you to try. Here's to happy poops! :-)

Really up the fiber. Ground flax seed is ideal because grams for grams, it's all fiber and women need at least 25g/day. But for te fiber to really work, you need to drink also a lot of water. I hope it gets better sweetie!

Stay away from apples, bananas, rice and toast ... They actually can make you constipated or slow you down!

If that isnt helping, drink milk ofagnesia. My doctor recommended it because im in the same boat

I had that problem I ate so prunes and oatmeal, anything high in fiber will help :)
