Can breastfeeding cause miscarriage?

Just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant. Every time my daughter nurses I cramp! I always think the worse because I had two back to back miscarries in 2019 and had to use progesterone being pregnant with my daughter. Can breastfeeding cause miscarriage? Is it normal to cramp when breast feeding pregnant? Asking because I haven’t found anything on the internet

Generally no, but if you are experiencing cramping when nursing and have a history of loss then i would call your OB and see what they say. For most women it is completely safe to continue breastfeeding during pregnancy since your body is already used to it, but for some women it is recommended that they don’t.
