MENTION OF MUCUS/ TMI — 30 weeks pregnant

On Friday AM I had a speculum after thinking I had lost fluid which turned out to be negative.

Last night I went to the toilet for a wee and saw a medium sized (about 2/3cm) brown mucus, the texture was jelly like and was much thicker than discharge.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this?

Could it be my mucus plug?

I called triage and they said to monitor babies movements and call back if I have any contractions but I’m curious as to what this could mean?
