There are 5 adults living in this apartment. Us (2), his parents, and a family friend with her infant. My SIL also came over to visit today. Today is the baby’s birthday, he’s turning one. I planned his 6m photoshoot completely from picking and ordering outfits, scheduling the photographer, ordering the backdrop, etc. I did everything. The mother had no input at all, she said it was up to me. I was told to plan this cake smash photoshoot as well. I did everything. I had scheduled the photoshoot for 4pm but the photographer mixed up the time and scheduled us for 11am. It was just a misunderstanding. We ended up having to reschedule for two days from now since she was fully booked later today and everyone has their panties in a bunch about it. Saying that it was my fault, that we should just cancel. We left the house and my SIL was calling my phone with a million questions. That the photoshoot HAD to be today since it’s his birthday. The mother of the baby was crying. And I’m just confused, like wtf is the big deal? My SIL said to cancel and find somebody else.. even if I canceled, the photoshoot still wouldn’t happen today!! I’m just fucking annoyed and confused. They’re bashing the photographer. Encouraging me to argue with her. Nobody helped me but now everyone has opinions! My SIL is getting mad with my husband for being honest with her, that it’s not her business anyway and it’s not that serious. Like wow. I’m never doing this again.

I planned it because the family friend (mother of the child) asked me too. But she wouldn’t offer any insight AT ALL. Everything was my choice, she gave no opinions. They’re upset because we had to reschedule.
