Should I be scared

stephanie

I started getting non-constant heart palpitations a week and a half ago.. then Wednesday I was at work and stood up to file some paper work and realized my palpitations where coming back to back so I left to the hospital where they did an ekg which was normal and also took a Covid swab and ran labs. Turns out I was positive for covid and had a slight infection which they prescribed antibiotics for. My isolation ends tomorrow but I am still getting heart palpitations and I’m wondering if this is normal ? I’m getting scared to even go out to the stores after my isolating as I do random things around the house and my heart starts pumping hard or racing fast and they get scary. Should I reach out to my dr or do these heart palpitations stop on their own?
