When did you announce your pregnancy to close family ?

When I was about 12 weeks or 13 weeks along

I announced it right when I found out to my mom, and my husband announced it to his mom. Later after I was 12 weeks, my husband told the rest of his family. It's really about personal preference but I would wait after 12 weeks to announce to extended family and friends.

Close family/friends: 8wks (after dating scan)
Everyone else: 15wks
We lost our first pregnancy and were thankful we had shared earlier because of the support we had. There is no right time, it is up to you!
