Anything I should know about concerta?

So I just started concerta today, and I don’t know much about it. Is there anything I should know about it? I’m a little worried about being on these meds..

I see patients all the time on it. There is really no big concerns.   Many of them do not have any side effects.  
I know the doctor I work for, many of the patients are younger and unless they have “events, or things they need to be at on weekends” many of them only take the medication during the week, and in the summer they take the summer off from using it.

Concerta has the same potential side effects as any other stimulant: not wanting to eat, difficulty sleeping, increased thirst, increased blood pressure, etc. However, the good news is that most of these tolerate after a couple weeks. Also, speed works immediately, so if you take it, you will know within a few hours if the side effects are not tolerable and you can just not take it again.
