When does eye color change?

hello! my LO is 6 weeks today and I was told by his pediatrician there’s a possibility he could keep his deep blue eyes since they haven’t started changing yet. Is this accurate? Or should I wait a while more before getting my hopes up? He was born with super dark brown eyes but they changed to a striking blue color that I’m in love with.

They said the same thing about my son when he was 6 months. He is now almost 2 and his eyes are brown as brown could be!

When he was first born to now (8 months) they haven’t changed a whole lot. I have green eyes & dad has blue eyes.

My daughters eyes were this color all the way up until about 5 ish months

My sons eyes were blue until his like 1st birthday. Now they are greenish brown hazel color, it's weird how their eyes can change so late.
