My bf lied about where he was. Last night he said he was going out with friends at 7 to a brewery/bar. I get home from work around 9 he’s still out. We both have our locations on, so around 11 I check, and he’s at another brewery/bar. He gets home around 1 with a friend, they leave to stop friend off, and then he gets home to go to sleep. In the morning I said “you guys were out late” he said they were just at the one brewery all night so I asked if they went anywhere else, he said no, so I said I looked and saw it was different one. He said no maybe it was wonky location. He came back like 5 minutes later and said ok I did go to the other place. I didn’t want to tell you because you asked me very accusing. I don’t know how saying you guys were out late is accusing but ok. He’s always done little lies like this that don’t make sense. I honestly want to break up because I can’t trust him. He said that if I knew he was at another bar I should have just said so instead of luring him into a trap?? I honestly don’t think he would have told me if I didn’t say I knew. We have a plethora of other problems as well. The little lies make me feel like I can’t trust any progress we made on our other issues because he could just be lying?? He apologized and asked me to forgive him. At this point I just said I’ll try.
