Teacher hits student
I’d like to hear thoughts about this. So I’m not completely sure of the exact situation that lead to the events but some students were on a bus and it looked as if the assistant principal was trying to get a student off the bus. He was standing up against another student who was right behind him. The student behind him was yelling and telling him to move so I guess she could get off the bus. At this time she was also pushing him. He then turns around and grabs the girl by her hair and nearly puts her in a chokehold. He also hit her multiple times while still holding her down by her hair. Other students start yelling at him and trying to push him off the girl but it wasn’t until the another adult stepped in and told him to get off the bus. Now at some point in time the girl did bite the AP but I still don’t believe that he should’ve been putting his hands on either student. The school backed him up and while many others are either backing him or also saying that they believe he was wrong. I feel like if you work with children, in healthcare, and so on then you should have enough self control and self resistance to keep yourself from doing things like this. This happened at a school in Alabama if anyone wants to read more about it. Thoughts?
