So last year my boyfriend tried to negotiate a plan with me to pay for our streaming services. Something like I’d pay for Netflix and hbo and he’d pay for Disney and Hulu or something like that. At the time i was living at home so i said no bc my dad paid for my Netflix and i don’t really watch tv so i didn’t want to pay for services i know i wouldn’t use

Fast forward i move out and get my own apartment and i figured why not get a tv since I’d be living alone and it could give me some ambience. The tv i got was my boyfriends old one because he got a new one

I asked him if he wanted to split the cost of streaming services and he said no because i “had my chance.” But once the tv got set up my boyfriend was still signed into everything so basically i could just watch everything he was paying for, for free

One day his hbo and Hulu randomly signed out on my tv so i asked him for the passwords and he said no. So i re-asked if he wanted to split the costs of services and he said no because, once again, “i had my chance.”

I mean it’s not like a colossal argument or anything as it’s literally just tv but is this my fault or is he being a jerk
