Peak doesn’t matter in ovulation tests. They’re either positive or negative. Once you get your first positive opk you’ll likely ovulate 12-36 hours later (could be up to 48hrs). Opks do not mean you’re ovulating or will ovulate, they’re simply telling you that you’re having an LH surge which may result in ovulation. The only way to confirm ovulation is through tracking bbt. The darkness of the test means nothing other than an LH surge is or isn’t occurring.
