I had an ECV done at 37 weeks and it was successful. I'd definitely do it again if needed. The procedure was over in under a minute for me and the painful part was maybe 30 seconds. I got through it fine with just nitrous oxide. I'd push back on needing an induction right after though unless there's a medical need for it.

Has anyone had the ECV done and how did it go?
36wks and 5 days baby’s head is still up so they are talking about doing an ECV to avoid C-section
But the day they do that they are gonna induce me so we are looking at having a 37 week baby.
And also at my last ultrasound they said they saw a hole in the heart and fluid around the liver? Is this a cause for concern? When my ob told me she didn’t really say much about it just that they were gonna have I guess a specialty doctor review the ultrasound.
