How did you guys find a OBGYN fast?

I need to find a new OBGYN FAST because I am already 12w3d and I haven’t been seen ONCE. They’re availability and mine do not work. I really am getting paranoid because I haven’t been for my first OB visit yet and I can’t seem to find a new office. When I look online I usually get scared off by the reviews tbh. I’m nervous about switching but I really need to. Any advice?

People rarely write reviews when they have a good experience, just keep that in mind. You don’t have to stick w anyone you don’t like.

I looked which ones are covered by my insurance, and then narrowed it down by distance from me and then reviews. I didn’t go to the one closest to me because everybody was saying it was unsanitary and not clean, so I just picked the one a little further and they have great reviews. But filter the reviews by most recent, which should help too.

Amen to the other comments! Also, IMO way better to get seen and deal with a little unpleasantness (mean nurses or whatever it is the reviews complain about) and have reassurance from blood work/ultrasounds and all the above!
You can also switch after an appointment or two if you really don’t like them.

I'm lucky because I've seen all the providers that work at my hospital in action. I chose the OB I chose because she is a strong patient advocate, slow to cut as long as baby is ok, but doesn't hesitate if a section is warranted based on how baby is doing. She does have to be called in, but she never takes long. 
I tend to labor quick, and she's not in house but I know all the hospitalist midwives and would feel comfortable with them delivering me if necessary.
