Hi there. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I stopped birth control in July (did not put Nuva ring in for August). My first cycle without birth control was 78 days. When my period was 12 days late my OBGYN prescribed Provera for 7 days to start my period. I began it on cycle day 46 and took the last dose on cycle day 52. The nurse said to call if I did not start my period because I probably have fertility issues. I never called because I wanted to let my body get back on track naturally. My next cycle was 24 days and the one after that was 27 days. With my 24 day cycle I began using OPKs from cycle day 8 to cycle day 22 once a day and I never got a positive or really saw a surge. With my 27 day cycle I tested cycle day 4 through cycle day 18 twice a day with a surge but no positive on cycle day 15.

Since my OBGYN’s nurse told me I might have fertility issues and my trouble with OPKs I am freaking out that I’m not ovulating and will in fact have fertility issues. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this when getting off birth control?

I also drink more water then anyone I know and I am wondering if this is effecting my results. I am working on limiting my water intake but, I constantly crave it.
