Ttc #2 rant. Cw: discussion of chemical pregnancy and flippant humor.
So about 4 months ago had my mirena iud removed. They said expect your period to return in the next three months.
Some time passes, cut to late October, I get about a dozen positive pregnancy tests. On Halloween I start bleeding and passing tissue that is sometimes as big as a thumb. A day or two prior I started getting negative tests again. Call my ob, they ask me to head in to the ER tobhave it checked out. Great. Spend the evening of the first Halloween my 18 month old was going to trick or treat. They get blood for labs a urine sample which ends up having mass of tissue the size of a peanut shell in it. They run ultrasound to rule out any kind of ectopic. Everything comes back clear, told to follow up with OB.
Follow up with OB, they tell me just like the ER did they didn't know what was up. Im left to my own devices to conclude ot was likely a chemical. My OB is very straight forward and to the point. He tells me, clearly since I have one child I know how its done and to get back to work. 🤣🤣🤣 Which I find hilarious.
About a week ago I have an appt with OB because at 4 months out I still haven't had a regular period save the bleeding from the probably chemical. I've been getting positive ovulation tests, so I seem to be ovulating. They draw blood for labs to check out my hormones. I just got a call from the OB office, Doc got my results and wants to schedule a follow up. Soonest available is Jan 31. Are you f***ing serious. Great. Thats not stressful at all. I can call everyday to check for cancelations though since they don't have a cancelation list. In the meantime I guess I just keep doing what I've been doing ? 🙃🙃🙃
So now not only do i know something is up with my labs but I just got the doctor equivalent of the "we need to talk text message". Here is hoping for some cancelations soon
