What does it mean when the ultrasound tech said the placenta was in the back? I had my last scan at 9ish weeks and she told me it was in the back. Does this mean posterior placenta?

Yes! You have a posterior and that means nothing bad. You’ll feel babies movements a lot more. I had an anterior one.

Nothing, just means it’s a posterior placenta meaning baby is entirely at the front. It likely means you will feel movement earlier that someone with a front sitting placenta - which is anterior. I have posterior and felt baby at 13 weeks, and now 23 weeks can see movement on the outside of my tummy
