Acid reflux in pregnancy ??

Ok y’all I’ve been dealing with acid reflux for awhile now no over counter meds was working! Ob called me something in on Thursday after I’ve been taking those for 2 days now and still not helping! Has anyone else had this issue?? What else can be done?? No way I can keep doing this the whole pregnancy it makes me sick all day and night 😭

Yeah pepcid usually works right away. That’s the only thing that HALF helps mine.. that and not eating too late. Sleep on left side.

Tums worked wonders for me. I couldn’t hardly keep anything down because of the nausea and even when I did eat later on. The indigestion and acid reflux got worse.

I’ve had 9 now 10 pregnancies and I’ve never had relief from anything for acid reflux. Usually I’d just avoid certain foods that I knew triggered it but with my current pregnancy I’ve even gotten acid reflux from water among everything else. This time it’s the worst and I’m only 15 weeks.

I tried everything and it was only Nexium that worked.  (I was also on Nexium before getting pregnant) the doctor said it’s fine after the first trimester
