Hi!

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over two years. Almost a month ago now we decided to break up & take some space. We still love each other so much but there were a lot of factors straining our relationship. We want to work on things so we have still been communicating & said we will give it till the end of January to see where we are at. I have seen him 2/3 times since we separated and our connection when we ar together has been incredible & feeling refreshed. I told him last time I saw him that I didn’t want to take space anymore & I want us to be a couple again.. he agreed he doesn’t want space anymore either but thinks we should still wait till the end of the month.

I don’t know what to do.. I love him but this just makes me feel foolish. Like my thought is that if he wanted to me with me he would ? And we would continue to work on things regardless but have our titles back. I don’t see the point in waiting longer if this is what we want?

What do you think I should do. He knows I am upset by this, but just keeps saying that I “have him” and he loves me but we should wait to see if this is really what we want. His response to me makes me not want to continue because idk, my mind is saying I am the prize, I shouldn’t be trying to convince him to be with me and that’s what I feel like I’m doing.
