My child’s father mother called him this morning crying saying she is sick and unable to get out of bed, for work or to even make herself tea. She hasnt been to work due to these same reasons. His sister also has been sick who also lives in the same household. In my mind Im thinking about how Covid symptoms has become worse and now are containing myalgia pains. So maybe it isn’t affecting his sister as much as it’s affecting his mom but she also is unable to really help the mother. His first reaction was “I’m coming” as it should …which is not the problem. I told him I think he should send her to the hospital prior to seeing her at home or bring her a Covid test in order to be sure. He says I’m being an asss and that’s his mother, which I completely understand. But we stay together I am an asthmatic and I am pregnant. I don’t think it’s very smart to walk into the home insure about what’s going around and still have to come back here. Am I wrong for thinking this way? I really feel as though he is being inconsiderate of the other things he has at stake because god forbid if it is Covid and my mother is elderly and also resides in the same home as me and my child’s father along with my 3 year old god daughter. Any other time something is wrong with his mom I hop up and tend to her with him as I would my own but this time was really alarming for me.
