Hi👋🏽 My little one is a very early walker and we're worried about her toddling around with how tiny she still is. She took her first steps right before bath time the same day she turned 6 ½ months🥰. She is now a little over 7 months and very enthusiastic about walking unassisted whenever she can. She's getting better and better everyday, and we're so proud of her determination, but are also concerned about her safety. She was an early crawler too, so we baby proofed fairly early, but still worry about her in spaces that aren't as baby friendly.

I've worked as an infant & special needs nanny for 7 years and prefer a Montessori inspired environment which is why I give her a lot of free, unrestricted play. We were thinking of possibly getting her a helmet? Has anyone had any experience with that or have any other recommendations? We have a large play pen for the kitchen, so that she can play safely while I cook, but she's not the biggest fan so we only really used it during the holidays or if I'm using the oven.

Any advice from other early or late or anything in-between walker mama's out there is very much welcome💞🙏🏽
