So I went to my first ob appt today thinking I’m around 6 weeks (they think I might be a little earlier than that), and the dr sees 2 gestational sacs and 2 yolk sacs. One yolk sac was very very clear and bright and one was very very hard to see unless she had it like right at the perfect angle. They said this means I’m having twins?? I’m in shock…. Should I be worried they couldn’t see the babies/fetal poles yet? Also she mentioned a “vanishing twin” where basically one would not survive and that it could be the one where the yolk sac wasn’t as visible. Has anyone ever heard of this or know the stats on it??
