Does it mean that people are more into sub/dom?

Think of it as more of a community like how the acronym LGBTQIA refers to a diverse community of sexual orientation. BDSM can refer to many things because it’s really just an acronym. And just because you participate in or identify with one part of it does not mean you have to participate in or identify with the rest of it. For example, you can be heavily into bondage but not interested at all in a dom and sub relationship or Vice verse.
