Marriage chronicles article #1

Getting ready for our Sunday. He goes to watch football, I typically find something else. We have a four month old. I ask if he’s gonna take baby to see grandpa today and he said reluctantly “I guess” to which I say “why wouldn’t you”. His dad just got a brand new vehicle and he said they were gonna work on it. Me, a bit confused, asked why they would work on it. He quickly replies it doesn’t matter and shuts down. I ask what the problem is and he said he can’t get much done w a baby. I say ya that seems like an excuse not to take her. For one they don’t work on sundays, only watch football. Two, the vehicle is new idk what it would need right away unless they were trying to modify it but still. Three, anything I ask from him I get reluctant answer like I’ve asked too much. I’m with her most of the time of course and he said before he’d take her sundays so I can have a break every now and then. Anyways so I said it seemed like an excuse and what does he think I do all week long with her. He says “not much”

I left it at that and now he knows I’m for sure mad at him.
